Details

Deconstructed dandy jacket with raw edges and exposed seams and stitching throughout. Peak lapel. Long sleeves with two decorative buttons. Double front button closure. Exposed shoulder seams. Welt breast pocket with exposed seam and two lower flap pockets. Oatmeal contrast fabric with decorative black and white chevron stitching on left side. Pleat and button detail at back with intricately cut hemline. Dry clean.

    Such beauty in the details of this blazer! This piece reminds me of another art history lesson (again!)...something about Picasso being classically trained, then painting like a child in older age. What I'm trying to get at is that it takes such remarkable skill to achieve the perfect balance of tailoring and unfinished edges. This piece is perfectly imperfect. At 5'2'', typically a size 2 in most lines, the Yohji size 1 was just a hair big for me in the shoulders.
