    I love these pants. I have a serious weakness for slim, black, cropped trousers (believe me, last month I snatched the Ann Demeulemeester ones we had). I don't know how many pairs I can justify filling my closet with...but that doesn't stop me from thinking about these everyday and pairing them with some of my other store favorites (see left, Look No. 1)! My denim size is typically a 26, and at 5'2'', I wear a 1 in these.

Yes, these pants are quite similar to the Ann D ones. The Yohji's are a bit more tuxedo with the back belt and are a heavier wool, but the silhouette is spot on. 2. Considering that I'm usually a 2, I would think the 3 would be equivalent to a 6. In your shoes, that would be the size I'd go with. 3. I didn't fold them up for the blog! I'm 5'2'' and they don't look cropped on me (not sure if that's good or bad), Ande is 5'9 and 1/2'', so my guess is that they'll hover just above your ankle. That seems pretty ideal to me, I probably wouldn't have them shortened. Lastly, at 5'2'', I definitely understand the importance of a half inch!
