This tunic is absolutely perfect for that crisp, Winter-to-Spring transitional weather! I think what makes this tunic so lovely is that it's light and breezy... throw a cardi on over it for colder days, or wear it on its own when the weather perks up!

I'm typically a size 1 in Etoile. At 5'2'', I would wear the size 36 in this piece. Initially, I found this size to be voluminous. But then I tied the drawstrings in the back, which created a smaller silhouette! This dress is also amazingly comfy :) The biggest difference between the size 36 and 38 is in length. I found the size 38 to be roughly two inches longer in the overall, including the sleeves.

I just received the medium, size 38, and it's huge. Is it worth switching for a small or is the 36 just as big in the neck and sleeves, where pulling the drawstring doesn't have much effect?

Robin. Hello! I just measured the neck and the shoulders in the size 36 for you. Taken on a flat surface, the measurements are as follows: Neck = approximately 20 inches around From shoulder seam to shoulder seam = approximately 19 1/4 inches across.
