I don't sail, but this jacket makes me want to learn . I suppose it's the navy with the white drawstrings and classic design. This is the perfect spring/summer jacket that will take you all the way through fall. In fact, I'd wear this with an APC sweater and wear it through winter too! I'm 5'3" and the small is a roomy fit, sitting about mid thigh.

Karmen. Hi! The chest measurement from armpit seam to armpit seam is approximately 21 inches across. Also, the approximate measurement from shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 17 inches across. I hope this helps!
