Xingjie, that's a great comment. The pockets are the same size and placed accordingly to the style. They might appear larger because it is a light color denim, which tends to highlight some features even more. The pockets are the same size in both styles.

Thanks! 'm assuming they're placed lower then. I mean compared to kex which is also a light coloured wash, the pockets on the hex seem to take up the whole butt and almost go to the thighs whereas the ones on the kex do not.

I see what you mean. Is definitely due to the rise of this particular style. I have the flex and never noticed that pockets covered my entire toosh. At least never in a bad way.

Susan. Hello! Taken on a flat surface, size 28 in the Lena wash measures approximately 14.5" inches across the waist, approximately 17" inches across the hip and 6" inches across the ankle (for a 12" inch opening). The rise measures approximately 8.5" inches in length.
