Clothing is in-house line of No.6 Store, NYC, shop opened by vintage collector Morgan Yakus and Karin Bereson in 2006. Yakus is a former stylist who specialized in "vintage inspiration" for a number of designers. Bereson was a stylist in New York and Los Angeles for 12 years. Store also serves as host to art/music events
and collaborations organized by curator and graphic designer Duncan Hamilton. Shoes are the hand-crafted footwear line of New York's No. 6 Store. First produced Fall 2006 as an antidote to the generic and the mass produced. Handmade and cut from wood sourced from family-owned factories in Austria and Sweden.
